A shower of stars over a caravanserai. The day has been hot. The scent of leather escapes from the stables as precious objects and exotic woods brought from Byzantium are unpacked. Amid the swirls of oud, vanilla, and sandalwood, there is a pause before the caravan stirs once more, leaving behind a warm and sensual fragrance.
Alix D. Reynis scented candles stand out with their delicate Limoges porcelain containers, inspired by the timeless shape of cups created by the Sèvres manufactory for Emperor Napoleon I in the early 19th century. Each fragrance has been exclusively developed for Maison Alix D. Reynis by a master perfumer from Grasse. The wax is made from vegetable oils, and the wicks are pure cotton.
Once the candle has burned down, the container can be repurposed as a vase, tumbler, or pot, thanks to its elegant lid, sold separately.
Notes: Oud, Amber, Cashmere Wood...
Directions for use : so that the candle burns evenly, it is advisable to let the wax melt to the edges of the cup and cut the wick regularly before using it to prevent it from giving off black smoke. The tumbler can be reused once the candle is finished and completed with the others in the collection. Clean it in hot, soapy water or in the dishwasher to remove any remaining wax.
