The Boule coat hook is handmade in porcelain in the family factory in Limoges thanks to the know-how of our craftsmen. It completes the hardware collection of the same name composed of a Bordeaux-style door handle, a door knob, cupboard, as well as a door handle.

Inspiration

The Boule collection is inspired by old gilded wood tieback holders dating from the 19th century, found by the designer. A tieback is a link or cord which, attached to a hook (or tieback holder), is used to embrace, to enclose a curtain, holding it draped on the side.

Uses

The Boule hook is a sculpted hook with decorative purposes, like a wall sculpture. Initially created as a clothes hook, you can hang your bulky items (coats, bags), or your accessories (scarves). It can also be used to install some of our portable lights. We advise you to associate it with Bonaparte and Béhor, and for a more baroque style, with Paris.

Available in matte or glazed finish - We recommend tightening the screws gently by hand to avoid breaking the porcelain.

Each piece sold by Alix D. Reynis is stamped with chrome green guaranteeing its complete manufacture in a factory in Limoges.
