When Alix Depondt-Reynis creates new pieces, she likes to draw inspiration from old objects that she discovers during her wanderings in museums. It was during a visit to the Museum of Fine Arts in Lyon that she discovered a Greek terracotta vase dating from the 5th century BC, which inspired her so much that she decided to reproduce it in porcelain : this is how the Godron pitcher was born. This piece is sculpted by hand in our Parisian workshop, then cast in porcelain in our factory in Limoges using traditional techniques. The Godron pitcher will serve as a carafe during your meals, as well as a vase for your bouquets of seasonal flowers. It will perfectly complement the Godron collection, composed of a medium vase, a tea tumbler and a candlestick.

Porcelain
Porcelain is the noblest and whitest ceramic paste that exists: it is also called white gold or the queen of ceramics. It is the most timeless and refined material of all, which was historically used for the production of royal services.
Thin and translucent but resistant to everyday use, it can easily be put in the microwave, oven and dishwasher.
