Oreste salad bowl in white porcelain

Handcrafted in Limoges porcelain, the Oreste straight salad bowl is dotted with embossed pearls in three rows. The Oreste collection is inspired by a embossed gold funerary goblet seen at the Archaeological Museum of Athens. These goblets served as offerings placed in ancient tombs to accompany the deceased on their journey to the afterlife. The name Orestes was given in homage to the Greek origins of the original inspiration, in reference to the mythology and tragedy of Euripides' Atrides. This large straight salad bowl can be used as a presentation bowl for a green salad or a large pasta dish. Its rows of pearls allow it to combine harmoniously with the Louis XVI collection, or with other pieces from the Oreste collection.

It is dishwasher, microwave and traditional oven compatible.
