The porcelain pill box, handmade in Limoges, evokes the small multi-purpose boxes where jewelry, medicinal preparations, sweets or...poisons were hidden. The gold setting, made by hand by one of the last porcelain setters also in Limoges, takes up the Louis XVI motif found on the eponymous tableware collection by Alix D. Reynis.

The monogram
A monogram is an emblem consisting of one or more intertwined letters, usually initials. At Alix D. Reynis, it is painted in blue or gold, by hand with a brush or pen, and is based on models established in the 18th century by the ornamentalist Jean-Henri Prosper Pouget.
