Alix Depondt-Reynis seeks the soul of objects from the past, drawing inspiration from historical forms for her creations. The Napoleon cup designed by Alix D. Reynis is inspired by the timeless shape of the cups created by the Sèvres manufactory for Emperor Napoleon I in the early 19th century. This cup mirrors the shape of the Napoleon scented candle, with the addition of a sculpted handle. The Napoleon cup is made from Limoges porcelain and is designed as a beautiful everyday object. It is handcrafted by artisans from our family workshop using traditional techniques, and it easily withstands use in the oven, dishwasher, and microwave.
