Alix Depondt-Reynis seeks the soul of objects from the past, drawing inspiration from historical forms for her creations. The Napoleon scented candle is inspired by the timeless shape of the cups created by the Sèvres manufactory for Emperor Napoleon I in the early 19th century. Each fragrance has been exclusively developed for the Maison by a master perfumer from Grasse. The wax is made from vegetable oils, and the wicks are pure cotton. Once the candle has burned down, the container can be repurposed as a tumbler or pot, thanks to its elegant lid, sold separately.
The top notes of the Rosa fragrance, floral in nature, are composed of peony and lily of the valley, followed by heart notes of Damask rose and white flowers. Its base notes are musky and woody (white musks, sandalwood, and cedarwood).
Notes: Damask rose, white flowers, white musks, sandalwood...
Directions for use : so that the candle burns evenly, it is advisable to let the wax melt to the edges of the cup and cut the wick regularly before using it to prevent it from giving off black smoke. The tumbler can be reused once the candle is finished and completed with the others in the collection. Clean it in hot, soapy water or in the dishwasher to remove any remaining wax.
