Winter, in a Byzantine palace warmed by the fire of its grand fireplace, where one dreams of the Orient. The lingering scent of spices blends with the smoky fragrance of burnt wood rising from the hearth.
Discover this fragrance in the Napoleon shape, the new candle container designed by Alix Depondt-Reynis. This search for a new form was born from the designer's desire to renew the spirit of the candle and reconnect with the essence of the Maison, a world where sculpture adorns everyday life.
This scented candle is inspired by the timeless shape of the cups created by the Sèvres manufactory for Emperor Napoleon I in the early 19th century. Each fragrance has been exclusively developed for Maison Alix D. Reynis by a master perfumer from Grasse. The wax is made from vegetable oils, and the wicks are pure cotton.
Once the candle has burned down, the container can be repurposed as a tumbler or pot, thanks to its elegant lid, sold separately.

Directions for use : so that the candle burns evenly, it is advisable to let the wax melt to the edges of the cup and cut the wick regularly before using it to prevent it from giving off black smoke. The tumbler can be reused once the candle is finished and completed with the others in the collection. Clean it in hot, soapy water or in the dishwasher to remove any remaining wax.
