Acanthus scrolls entwine the hinges of the cathedral doors, a grand and eternal place where one walks in silence, wrapped in notes of incense. Mystical resins with distant evocations, their burning lifts the soul. Experience this fragrance in the Napoléon candle, the latest creation by Alix Depondt-Reynis.
Inspired by the timeless shape of cups crafted by the Sèvres manufactory for Emperor Napoleon I in the early 19th century, this design reflects the Maison’s dedication to blending art and daily life. Exclusively developed by a Grasse master perfumer, the candle features vegetable wax and pure cotton wicks.
Once the candle is burned, the Limoges porcelain holder can be repurposed as a vase, goblet, or pot, complemented by its elegant, separately available lid.
Notes: Incense, elemi, clove, rosemary.
Directions for use : so that the candle burns evenly, it is advisable to let the wax melt to the edges of the cup and cut the wick regularly before using it to prevent it from giving off black smoke. The tumbler can be reused once the candle is finished and completed with the others in the collection. Clean it in hot, soapy water or in the dishwasher to remove any remaining wax.
